The Melbourne Planetarium reawakens after hours for adults only with fulldome film screenings especially selected for Design Week. There are two screenings each night, join one or both.

The first screening, “From Dream to Discovery,” will begin at 7:30 pm and may feature What’s in the Sky Tonight, a presenter-led tour through the night sky.

This presentation explores NASA engineering, highlighting the design of the James Webb Space Telescope and New Horizons.

The second screening, “Chaos and Order,” starts at 9 pm. This fulldome art film provides an immersive voyage into unseen worlds through “A Mathematic Symphony.”

By blending science and art, the fundamental connection between reality and mathematics is explored, celebrating the one language of our universe. Guests can also enjoy drinks from the bar in the planetary surroundings. Planetarium Nights is an event for adults over 18 years old.
