Design is at the centre of humanity’s future exploration of space. Rovers and deep space probes act as proxies for human exploration off earth, enabling us to reach and explore the wild frontiers of our solar system.

How is human-centred design enabling a revolution in unmanned space exploration? What are Australia’s latest advancements in remote controlled and autonomous systems systems that serve as effective human substitutes in space? Dr Alessandra Monerris-Belda, Space Technology Director for Strategy & Integration, Australian Space Agency, shares the Agency’s ground-breaking space programs pushing new boundaries in design of human-proxy exploration.

This event takes place at Scienceworks and will also be streamed online. Book now to attend in person, or online via live-stream. At the conclusion of the panel discussion you have the option to attend a Planetarium show. Book with your ticket.

This event is presented in partnership with the Australian Space Agency.
