Melbourne Design Fair

Melbourne Design Fair showcases presentations of contemporary and 20^th century collectible design by leading Australian and international designers, the Fair includes more than 50 presentations staged by commercial galleries, design agencies, craft and design organisations, and independent design studios. A wide array of collectible design will be on show from cutting-edge furniture design to unique objects and jewellery, Melbourne Design Fair provides visitors with the opportunity to discover new talent, explore innovative design production, and gain insight into the latest ideas and trends in the world of collectible design.

Developed to stimulate long-term interest in the purchase of collectible design in Australia, Melbourne Design Fair’s audience constitutes a broad reach, encompassing art and design collectors, collecting institutions, interior design industry, design media, enthusiasts of art and design and the public. Melbourne Design Fair is the only event of its kind in Australia.

Initiated by the National Gallery of Victoria with the support of the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria, Melbourne Design Fair is the flagship event of Melbourne Design Week.
