The Maker Space Open Days are being hosted by Yarra Plenty Regional Library and are open to all interested individuals. The event will showcase the specialty equipment, staff, and creations of the textile, design, and garden Maker Spaces. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe the 3D printer in action, take a tour of the garden spaces, and explore the paper making equipment. Additionally, equipment from the spaces will be available for borrowing.

The Thomastown textile Maker Space will be open for drop-ins and visitors can learn about the lending library, which offers a variety of tools and equipment for borrowing, including sewing machines and craft materials. The library staff will be available to provide information and resources, and connect visitors with other makers in the community, regardless of their age or skill level.
