Museum Teachers are being offered a professional learning opportunity to gain knowledge about using space as a context for STEM design challenges. The focus of the program is to engage participants in activities that they can implement immediately in their classrooms. The program is centered on STEM and design pedagogies that are appropriate for students in education year levels 3-8.

The program will provide an opportunity for teachers to gain an understanding of the constraints of different space environments, and how designs can be made to work for people who use them. Teachers will learn how to encourage students to draw on space knowledge to overcome the challenges associated with intergalactic space travel.

The cost of the program is $150, which includes morning tea and lunch.
