In this participatory co-design workshop, hosts of Monash University Design and Health, Leah Heiss, Eva and Marc Besen International Research Chair in Design & Troy McGee, invite participants to speculate with others on mental health futures across Victoria, and how we all might support the most vulnerable in our community to ensure equitable mental healthcare for all.

 

Participants

Leah Heiss

Leah Heiss is a Melbourne-based designer and Monash University academic working at the nexus of design, health and technology. Her process is deeply collaborative, and she works with experts from nanotechnology through to manufacturing. She is dedicated to the idea that design can radically improve the development of wearable health technologies, systems and services.

 

Troy McGee

Troy McGee is equal parts designer, researcher and educator. He is currently a Lecturer at Monash University. Through his research with the Design Health Collab, he conducts collaborative and interdisciplinary research at the intersection of design, technology and care.
