Leah Heiss
Leah Heiss is the designer behind Facett, the world’s first modular hearing aid. She drew inspiration for her design from the rocks and minerals found in the Museums Victoria’s collection. This unique design won both the 2018 Good Design Award and the CSIRO Design Innovation Award.
Sophie Payne
Sophie Payne is the designer of the Vagus Nerve Stimulator, a device that wraps around the vagus nerve located just below the diaphragm. This device activates the body’s natural anti-inflammatory reflex, which can help to treat Crohn’s disease and other related conditions.
