See The Future First displays the W.O.T lounge chair, which reimagines the World of Tomorrow, as contemplated by the 1939 and 1964 New York World’s Fairs, combining it with the bold visions of 1930s to 60s automobile concepts. Both fairs ambitiously sought to provide clarity to modern living in anticipation of a future of consumerism, industry and culture – all at the precipice of great historical changes. To this end, the W.O.T chair sits accompanied by a panoply of Davy’s governing inspirations and memorabilia collected over the span of a decade.

See the Future First presented by Lieutenant Furniture Design embodies an intertwined vision – the optimistic innovation of retro-futurism, and principal designer Davy Chu’s multifaceted ventures from haberdasheries to design.
