Electronics contain precious metals and valuable materials. Despite this, E-waste is growing at a rate that is 3 x faster than general municipal waste in Australia. Come along to this workshop to learn how we can rethink our approach to the design, reuse, repair and recycling of electronics.

Hosted by Elliot Whinnen, each participant will be guided through the steps to reconstruct and upcycle a hand-held gaming device. Each participant will be provided with a toolkit to participate with.

After the workshop, you’ll be free to enjoy some refreshments and network around the room while learning about Victorian-based projects that are tackling the challenges of e-waste.

Sustainability Victoria’s Circular Economy Business Innovation Centre (CEBIC) proudly present this event in conjunction with Melbourne Design Week to inspire circular thinking, bring together businesses and foster innovation and collaboration – towards a circular economy.
